My vision and aim has been to create a world-renowned Scottish centre for medical aesthetic excellence. A centre that improves the quality of life for tens of thousands of people. I have achieved this, by offering an exceptionally high-quality patient journey. Ethically-driven service provision and an extensive range of complementary treatments which cover the spectrum of the ageing process and maximises skin health.
In 2019, I am proud to have co-founded 3 successful Clinetix aesthetic clinics, 1 training academy (ATA) and the Association of Scottish aesthetic practitioners in Scotland (ASAP).
Over the last 12 months, along with my team members, I have had significant success developing Clinetix. I have lectured and demonstrated at many national conferences and training events, as well as published a technical guide book to aesthetic medicine. I am elated to have be part of the awesome “team Clinetix”, who have won multiple awards for the clinic over the past 12 months.
Helping our patients improve their quality of life, happiness and wellbeing is my passion. Being able to be involved in a patients journey is an honour and I believe I am incredibly privileged to be able to do the job I do.
I started my aesthetic career as an ENT staff grade surgeon specialising primarily in facial plastics. Working with patients with facial disfigurement either from injury or disease brought home to me the significant impact ones appearance can have on ones psychological state. Taking over a clinic list where patients were treated with botox for the correction of facial asymmetries following nerve injury demonstrated the power such a simple and safe intervention could have in restoring confidence and self esteem. I co-founded the Clinetix company with my wife in 2006 with the goal of creating a platform for us to not only treat patients to the best of our ability, but also to learn and eventually to teach aesthetic medicine as a subspecialty in it’s own right. Nearly 13 years later, with 3 clinics, a training academy and 23 staff I believe we are close to achieving our original vision.
Dr Benji Dhillon has uniquely been involved in all aspects of aesthetic medicine and has helped to shape the industry. He also helped develop and launch the Allergan Medical Institute, which is now responsible for training thousands of professionals around the world in injectable best practice. He was also a key member of the clinical team at Phi Clinic for over three years helping to teach on Academy 102 courses, providing pro bono burns treatments and advancing his own injectable techniques. Now as the co founder and owner of Define Clinic he is taking cross specialty collaboration to the next level by working with Cosmetic Dentists to develop unique consultation algorithms that assess both the soft tissue and teeth for full face treatment plans.
My clinical ethos is professional integrity and provision of excellence in aesthetics with a holistic approach supporting wellness on the inside. This means myself and my team provide honest ethical advice and deliver treatments only that will optimise and enhance their natural appearance without ever looking fake or over done. The aim is to work towards the mission statement of creating" Radiance on the outside; Wellness on the inside". I believe in establishing a caring long term relationship with my patients, delivering exceptional results utilising the safest, medically proven technologies in a warm, welcoming and caring environment with a commitment to continuous improvement.

I teach to directly influence standards not just nationally but globally, to benefit more patients. I endeavour to perform the highest level of training to many of the world’s top practitioners & have been privileged to share my ideas & mentor many from different specialities over 11 years.
Despite my extremely busy clinic, I am committed to research & have been involved from inception to launch as a Principal Investigator, Medical Advisor, Clinical Trial Injector & International Live Demonstrator of 3 out of the 5 Juvederm Vycross products, Volite, Volbella & Volux as well as other non-sponsored landmark studies.
My whole career has been about patient first. Not just their aesthetic but their psycho-emotional wellbeing state. Through my work I aim to empower patients to make informed choices whilst encouraging self-acceptance in an increasingly superficial society.
For me, it is not about standing in the spotlight, it’s about making a difference.
As an UK based Consultant Aesthetic & Reconstructive OculoPlastic Surgeon, with 2 decades of experience in peri-orbital and facial rejuvenation, I believe that I have made significant national and international contributions to improving teaching and dermal filler training for the peri-orbital area and the management of complications with scientific presentations at conferences like IMCAS, Beauty through Science, BOPSS update day, BAAPS-CCRexpo (2016), BACN & BCAM annual conferences, ACE and FACE.
I believe that continued medical education underpins the maintenance of clinical excellence, expertise and patient safety, all three subjects I am passionate about.
I work collaboratively with my dermatology, dental, plastic surgery and psychology colleagues to improve the care of my patients and collaborate with key industry brands.
I am a huge promoter of empowering female aesthetic practitioners and work with a team of incredible female educators in OFAA.
For me, aesthetics is art, science and imagination and I think that captures what I love about excelling in it.

I’m honored to be recognised by my profession by winning 8 national awards to date, and to have created a clinic built on 21 years of clinical experience.
I’m proud to have created a clinic resembling that of my Father’s, which I spent time growing up in and which led to my inspiration and catalyst to being a Doctor.
My current position is Group Medical Director of sk:n and clinical director of sk:n clinics in Harley Street and Teesside (within the James Cook University Hospital) and I am Chairman of sk:n’s Medical Standards Committee. I have been a Consultant Dermatologist over 20 years working in laser surgery for medical conditions such as birthmarks and rare, complex skin conditions. I also work within aesthetics, particularly dealing with photo rejuvenation and scarring with a focus on acne scarring. I have worked on a combination of techniques which includes the use of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler and surgery to give patients the best possible outcome. I work with NHS England to provide a safe and specialised environment especially for the treatment of children. We treat port wine stains, deal with many rare skin conditions which some may deem as aesthetic, for example Neurofibromatosis, or multiple benign tumours on the face. By working closely with our patients we have been able to make a case for them to have these treatments through the NHS and I have recently formed a partnership with NHS England in the North East of England which I am extremely proud of.
