In 1994, Lynton Lasers Ltd was formed by a group of PhD Physicists working at the Physics Department at the University of Manchester. The team was working on the development of one of the world’s first Q-switched tattoo removal lasers, a project they then decided to commercialise, making this new and exciting technology available to aesthetic and medical practitioners worldwide.
This academic background played a major role in Lynton becoming a leading supplier and educational provider, not only to Lynton customers but to all practitioners looking to advance their knowledge and expertise of light-based treatments.
In 2018, we invested a further £500,000 into expanding our manufacturing, R & D and training facilities based in Cheshire. Dr Jonathon Exley, Managing Director at Lynton: “At Lynton, we pride ourselves on the quality, reliability and clinical capabilities of our UK manufactured aesthetic equipment. Due to record-high demand year-on-year for our products and training courses, it became apparent that we would need to invest further in our manufacturing and training facilities, ensuring sustainable growth for Lynton moving forwards”.
